Elise Bluell, LPC

Have you ever been told you’re "too sensitive" or felt like you aren't enough? Do you find yourself repeating relationship patterns or struggling with fears, self-doubt, or overwhelm that feel too difficult to change? If so, you may be feeling exhausted, discouraged, or unsure whether things can ever change. I want you to know that you already have the wisdom within you to find your way through it all. I would love to walk with you as you get to know the parts of yourself that learned to hold these beliefs, patterns, or fears. Together, we'll explore these facets of yourself with compassion, curiosity, and creativity, moving at a pace that feels right for you. As we get to know your inner world, you can move toward greater self-compassion, clarity, and agency—the roots of meaningful change.

I specialize in treating complex trauma (CPTSD) and PTSD. Many of my clients also experience anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, neurodivergence, high sensitivity, grief, and spiritual concerns that often accompany a history of harmful experiences. My approach is person-centered, collaborative, empowering, and trauma-informed. I honor your lived experience, values, identity, and background. We’ll view your concerns through a non-pathologizing lens, considering the societal and cultural systems that shape your unique mind, body, and spirit. Therapy with me is warm, creative, and paced to your capacity. Rather than pushing you to relive painful experiences before you're ready, we'll work together to build safety and self-understanding. As trust grows, we'll explore the parts of you that learned to protect you from difficult experiences while helping you reconnect with your strengths, values, and authentic self.

I believe you already hold the capacity for growth and healing; you may just need a safer and more supportive space to reconnect with that inner knowing. I am honored to meet you where you are, witness your story, reflect your resilience back to you, and walk alongside you as you move toward greater self-trust and a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

Outside the therapy room, I enjoy reading non-fiction, being active in and appreciating nature (especially birding!), exploring creative outlets including watercolor, macrame, poetry, and indie nail polish, and spending time, being silly, and adventuring with the people I love
